Dry Ice Blasters

What dry ice blaster to choose? Esnadee are the official GCC distributor for the world renowned CRYONOMIC® dry ice blasting technology range.

The advantages of using dry ice pellets as blasting material include:

1. The very low temperature of the dry ice pellets (-78°C or -109°F) causes the contamination to freeze and / or contract resulting in the easy removal of the contaminant.

2. The dry ice pellets vaporize to carbon dioxide gas on impact, which means that only the original contaminant is left for disposal leaving no liquid “sludge” or contaminated grit to dispose of. The evaporation of dry ice blasting media with no liquid or solid residue is a significant advantage of dry ice cleaning compared to other techniques, especially on delicate or sensitive parts. This is because there is practically no abrasion from dry ice blasting, the removal is achieved using the rapid expansion of solid to gas without a liquid phase.
